Dr. Kenneth Schunk, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM

Dr. Kenneth Schunk is a 1974 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He has been a diplomate of the American College of Internal Medicine with a specialty in neurology since 1980. Dr. Schunk was a staff member at the Angell Memorial Animal Hospital until 1982, then he became an assistant professor of small animal medicine at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine from 1982-1988. He has provided general and specialty care for the patients of H.C.V.H. since we opened in 1989. He will accept referrals from other veterinary hospitals in the areas of neurology and internal medicine.

Dr. Cheryl Mehlhaff Schunk, DVM, Diplomate ACVS

Dr. Cheryl Schunk is a 1977 graduate of the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship at South Shore Veterinary Associates in Weymouth, Massachusetts, and a surgical residency at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Mehlhaff Schunk was an associate staff surgeon at the AMC from 1982-1985, and an assistant professor of small animal surgery at Tufts Universiity School of Veterinary Medicine from 1985-1988. She has been a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons since 1985. Dr. Cheryl Schunk has provided surgical care for our hospital's patients since 1989. Her surigical expertise is available to patients of our hospital.

Dr. Robin Porter, DVM

Dr. Robin Porter is a 1988 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with highest honors. With many years of general practice experience, Dr. Porter provides excellent diagnostic, medical and surgical services and excels in client education and preventive health care to maximize the quality of our patient's lives. She provides general medicine, preventative health, and surgical care for our patients. Dr. Porter also has special interest in the care of rabbits, hampsters, ferrets, and other small mammal pets.

Dr. Lori Baldwin, VMD

Dr. Lori Baldwin is an 1997 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She has 20 years of experience providing excellent veterinary care for clients in southern New Hampshire. Dr. Baldwin excels in surgery, general medicine, and preventative healthcare for dogs, cats, and small mammals. We were delighted to have her join the Hillsborough County Veterinary Hospital staff in 2014. In addition to being actively involved in animal care within the clinic, Dr. Baldwin has worked with greyhound rescue and working police dogs for many years. She has also served as a trail veterinarian for the Iditarod sled race in remote Alaska each year since 2013.
